AssalamuAlaikum Wa Rahmatullah,

Within the last 24 hours we collected the £4000 that was donated by a single brother. In addition we received several online donations. We ask Allah subhanu wa ta'ala, Al-Razaak to replenish the equivalent value of these donations and increase them further in beneficial wealth. We ask Allah to make the small donation to the large donation as heavy as mountains on their scales on the day of resurrection. We ask Allah to cure their sick and leave no ailment as verily our sick are treated with sadaqah, ameen.

A total of £7427 has come in since yesterday which means we have £6408 remaining. A lot of hard work has gone in and a lot of development has taken place since the Masjid was purchased in 2010. We are now reaching what we believe is one of the last opportunities to be a part of the physical foundation work of Masjid As-Sunnah in Bradford and Allah knows best. £6408 roughly equates to 6 and a half bricks. We ask those who want to make this noble investment to donate if they are able. Today a person has health and the worldly possessions are given such importance and value. Tomorrow, when health is taken away and death draws close, the worldly possessions overnight become completely insignificant. A person at this point races towards doing anything he can that will act as a continuous charity for him in the hereafter. Today the opportunity is there, tomorrow it may be gone. We only remind to encourage ourselves and then others to invest in that which will truly benefit them....and that is sadaqah. This may be to the poor, to the orphans or anyone else in need. This maybe towards the Masaajid where Allah is worshiped alone and millions will make prostrations over hundreds of years to come. We look at the giving of wealth of the likes of Abu Bakr and Umar radiAllahu anhuma and it gives us the examples to follow. May Allah make our actions sincere for His sake alone and accept our deeds and make our ending good. Ameen.
