DOWN TO THE LAST 3 BRICKS...£2486 COME IN SINCE MONDAY!
Latest pictures: The wudhu facility is coming along. The steel beams have been delayed to tomorrow. Once erected, the main men's prayer hall will double in size. We ask Allah to facilitate it.
First and foremost we apologies for a lack of updates yesterday. We traveled to the south for a tour of an Islamic School recently setup. We are hoping to start our own nursery/primary school project after Ramadhaan so grasped this opportunity to gain insight from those who have recently preceded us. We ask Allah to bless their project, it was an inspiration for us.
Regarding updates then Alhamdulillah £2486 worth of donations came in yesterday. May Allah reward, accept and make heavy these deeds from our brothers and sisters who donated. Ameen. This means that we only have £2848 to go. A spectacular £32,152 has been raised in the last 12 days. We started our campaign on the 31st May locally encouraging our immediate community of brothers to give, raising almost £13,000 amongst ourselves, Alhamdulillah an online campaign was then launched with a campaign as amazing as 2010. We want to make a point of this in that the generosity witnessed from everyone gives further encouragement to drive this project in Bradford. We want to make this whole project comprising of Masjid, School and Bookshop as a beacon and example for communities around the world. Albaseerah began in 2000 and by Allah's grace has developed considerably in the last 13 years. We firstly thank Allah for these blessings for we are nothing without His aid. Then we thank all our brothers and sisters, all around the world who have put their confidence in us, believed in this project and its potential, put faith in it through action. It truly humbles us and we ask Allah that we go from strength to strength actualising this vision. May Allah reward all of you. We can never thank you enough.
To end then there are 3 bricks remaining - £2848. We encourage everyone to donate for Allah's sake. Your reward is with Allah.
