Latest pictures: The work to erect the steel pillars began yesterday.

AssalamuAlaikum Wa Rahmatullah,

One of the most important and long awaited parts of the Masjid expansion started yesterday. The steel pillars will allow the men's prayer hall to double in size. It was a historical moment for the project management team to see the first pillar erected yesterday evening. Alhamdulillah we are still receiving donations and this clearly shows the enthusiasm and support of the people. May Allah reward and accept it from those who donated yesterday. Ameen.

Albaseerah Bradford has a vision of having an established Masjid, School and Bookshop which serves as complex for da'wah and learning. We also want to ensure that all these 3 entities are totally owned by the charity organisation to cut rent bills and allow one entity to financially support the other (social enterprise). The bookshop is that last remaining entity which still sits on a rental agreement. We must strive to change this as it is an integral part of the overall vision. We hope to begin a campaign in relation to the Bookshop soon Inshaa'Allah. Please see below the latest pictures from yesterday. Hayakumullah.
