Approx. £6616 donated since yesterday, May Allah bless you...‏

AssalamuAlaikum Wa Rahmatullah,

All praise be to Allah, approx. £6616 has been donated since last night, £73,934 to go. We ask Allah to accept these donations from our brothers and sisters and make them as heavy as mountains on yawmul qiyaamah. Allahumma Ameen. The following are all the updates from yesterday evening and today as tweeted from our account:

• An elder with serious business experience from another city came to visit and check out the Masjid & Bookstore and discuss the Waqf project after Dhur Prayer today. After discussing its viability and benefits he said we should March on as it is not only a halaal financial benefit for the Masjid but a massive Dawah mechanism inshaaAllaah and donated £1400! JazaahuAllaahukhair.
• As we were jump starting the electricians van in the masjid carpark just now we checked the days post in the masjid post box..and what a pleasant and beautiful end to the day.....A £2000 donation cheque from a sister in Uxbridge..Allaahu Akbar! Keep your support coming ya ahlasSunnah! We wonder what is in store tomorrow? Allaah aids and provides from ways and means unimaginable walhamdulilah!
• Just as the Albaseerah.com Team were about to rest for the night after a great day of donations pouring in...yes you've guessed it another big one! A big £2000 & £100 bricks have come flying in! Alllaahu Akbar!! May Allaah reward both these and everyone else that has donated so far with the best of rewards in both worlds. Ameen. With a massive £6500+ coming in today alone, theres a real excited sense of a snowball building here. Is this going to be yet another spectacular show of support and unity from ahlusSunnah from all corners of the world..are we going to see some big donations at Jum'uah & Abu Iyaads lesson tomorrow......? JazaakumAllaahukhair to all of you!
• A sister phoned us and agreed to give us a loan of £4000 for 5 years.
• We ask Allah and ask you to supplicate to Allah for the amazing support of these people who donated. May Allah reward them abundantly in the duniya wal Akhirah. Ameen. They have probably never met us yet they support us like they are with us
• It reminds us of the hadith in Bukhari: "A believer to another believer is like a building whose different parts enforce each other."...The Prophet then clasped his hands with the fingers interlaced (while saying that). We thank you sincerely for your support O Ahlus Sunnah
• There will be cakes, pakoras, samosas and a lot more available after Jumuah at Masjid As-Sunnah. Take a plate and donate what you wish!
• The same applies after the talk tonight by Amjad. Several sisters from Nelson will be bringing food.Take some food and donate what you want!
• Masjid As-Salafi, Birmingham will be collecting donations for us after Jumuah. May Allah bless them. One body, one call.

• We need an average of £17,000 a week for the next 5 weeks to raise the money. We have raised £11,000 this week, £6000 to raise by Sunday.
