Approx. £7250 raised since yesterday...‏

AssalamuAlaikum Wa Rahmatullah,

All praise be to Allah, approx. £7250 has been donated since yesterday, £53,536 to go. We have received a £5000 donation from one individual, £1700 from Qatar, several other cash and paypal donations. We ask Allah to make these donations a means for the removal of trials and tribulations from these people. Allahumma Ameen.

Tweets and updates from yesterday 10am to today 13/11/2013 before 10:30am:

• A Family Funday has been organised by our sisters, May Allah reward them and aid them
• The sisters will kindly donate all the money generated from this funday towards the Masjid Waqf. May Allah reward them.
• We still need to raise £60,787. Donate for the sake of Allah yaa ikhwaan wa akhawaat. Collectively we can do this Inshaa'Allah
• A brother just walked into the bookstore and donated £300. May Allah reward him abundantly. Ameen
• Whilst we were painting the masjid on Sunday evening we had a visitor from Qatar who we had never met before enquiring about the waqf project. After asking some relevant questions he looked around the masjid and bookstore building and left. 48 hours later he sent a brother at 'Isha this evening with £1700! Truly sums up the amazing Albaserah story... JazaahumAllaahukhair!
• Well...the Albaseerah story just seems to get better and better and better...after the suspense of the 30 second wait whilst logging onto online banking for the last time this evening, we are yet again amazed by someone who has just wired £5,000!!! What can we say except الحمد لله. Whoever you are جزك الله خيرا. We ask Allaah that he grants you and every single one who has helped so far, that which is good for you in this life and the next, ameen.
• A total of £246 of paypal donations came in overnight. Jazakumullahu Khair. £7250 in total has come in since our last update yesterday.
• A sister from the south contacted us yesterday and has pledged to donate £5000 in December Inshaa'Allah. May Allah grant her success. Ameen
• In the last few nights tears have been brought to our eyes when we heard of children fundraising for us alongside their parents...Ahlus Sunnah sacrificing their time and wealth for the sake of Allah...we will never be able to thank you enough for your support. We ask Allah to accept these deeds, make them an expiation for sins, make them a means for the removal of trials and tribulations, ameen.
